Day 2

On the way to Zakopane we stop to explore a village of Chocholow, famous for its numerous old wooden cottages. Here we drop into the typical wooden cottage to see its interiors. We start our tour of Zakopane admiring the spectacular panoramic view of the Tatras from the Gubalowka hill – a funicular will take us to the top of it. After a short walk around the peak, we return down to visit the oldest part of Zakopane with the picturesque old cemetery. We also see a tiny wooden church built in the local Zakopane style. Then you have time for shopping in the local market – another landmark of Zakopane.

Day 3

Programme:
We take the picturesque road going through the villages of Spisz to reach the rafting marine in Sromowce Katy. Here in the building of the National Park we see the exhibition saying about the Dunajec river and the tradition of rafting. We take the seats in the raft and the tour starts – on the way we admire landscapes while listening to the legends and the stories from Pieniny told by our guide. After 2 h we reach Szczawnica – a popular health resort. We have lunch break in one of the traditional inns. We will also stop to admire the view of the Czorsztyn reservoir and the medieval castle crowning the rock on its bank. On the way back we visit the most beautiful wooden church in Poland – its silhouette and the decoration of the interior made it one of the most unique buildings that are on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
