Hotel Turowka  

The central idea in the project for the opening of the Hotel Turowka was to create an exceptional place, to which you would always want to return. The building, which dates back to the year 1811, when it served as a saltern, was erected in the grounds of a medieval outlying farm called „Tur”, from where the name of „Turowka” was derived which survived until today.

The building, which was from the beginning closely linked with the saltmine, became an inherent part of the architectural landscape of Wieliczka. The walls, a souvenir from the beginning of the 19th century, obliged us to respect the history of which they are the witnesses, an approach reflected also in the furnishings and the character of the hotel. The perfect location and the proximity of the saltmine of Wieliczka, a UNESCO world heritage site, create the background for this ideal place of rest and relaxation as well as for business meetings and conferences.

We are convinced that we have succeeded in creating a friendly and comfortable place, which fulfils all the requirements of a high standard hotel. Most important for us, however, is that our guests will remember the unusual flair of our hotel, that we want to share with them – so that they will think of our hotel when they plan their next stay in the region of Malopolska and FEEL AS SOMEONE SPECIAL...
